In this lesson we shall continue with the thought of doctrine and the teaching of Jesus Christ. Some of the Scriptures will use the word “gospel.” It means the good news of the kingdom of God and salvation through Jesus Christ to be received by faith.

1. 2 Timothy 4:3. For the time will come when they will ___________________________, but after their ______________ shall they heap to  ____________________________, having itching ears.

2. Titus 2:1. But speak thou the things which become ______________________________.

3. Titus 2:7. In all things shewing thyself a ___________________ of _________________: in __________________ shewing ___________________, _________________________, __________________________.

4. 2 John 9. Whosoever transgresseth, and _______________ in the _________________, hath not ____________. He that abideth in the ________________, he hath both the _____________ and the _______________.

5. Mark 6:34. And ___________, when He came out, saw_____________, and was moved with _____________, because they were as ______________ not having a ____________________:

And He began to ___________________ them.

6. Luke 5:3b. And He sat down, and ______________________ out of the ship.

7. John 7:16. Jesus answered them, and said, ___________________ is _______________, but __________________ that __________________.

8. Acts 5:42. And daily in _________________, and in ________________, they ceased not _______________ and _________________ Jesus Christ.

9. Galatians 1:8. But though ________________, or __________________ from heaven, preach _________________________ than that which we have __________________, let him be accursed.

The verses in lessons 3 and 4 should be sufficient to teach us that there is one faith, one doctrine, one teaching. This was brought to us through the gospel of salvation by Jesus Christ.
